The California Fire Mechanics Academy, Inc. Board of Directors is pleased to announce additional 2010 educational opportunities for emergency vehicle technicians. There has been an overwhelming interest in CFMA offering classes at other times of the year in addition to the annual spring academy. In response to this interest, a limited number of classes are now scheduled for this fall in Southern California. This will allow students who are pursuing their California State Fire Mechanic certification an additional opportunity to take the required classes, therefore, expediting the process. Space is limited and registration is now being accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Complete the attached Student Registration and Invoice Information forms and return with payment to the CFMA administrative office for processing. Your registration will be processed and confirmed upon receipt of completed paperwork and payment.

The California Fire Mechanics Mini Academy is fast approaching. It is NOT too late to register! There are still seats available in either the Aerial Apparatus state certification class or the Basic Electrical Systems class. Act now if you want to participate! California Fire Mechanics Academy – 2009
The California Fire Mechanics Academy, Inc., in conjunction with the California Fire Chiefs Association, American River College Sacramento Regional Public Safety Training Center, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, and the Roseville Fire Department is pleased to announce the 39th annual fire mechanics academy
program. There are several new and exciting classes being offered this year including classes designed specifically for firefighters, engineers and officers wanting to know more about the apparatus they are responsible for. The academy classes will once again be held at McClellan Business Park located in Sacramento, California. This converted former Air Force base provides the academy with the classrooms, shops and open spaces required to present the best possible program to our students.

You will find classes specifically designed to provide the latest information regarding a variety of maintenance, service and repair activities related to fire apparatus and equipment.
